Theme: The Gender debate in Volunteering to celebrate International Women’s Day, March 8th 2017
Volunteer Voices is an opportunity for people to come together and have a chat about a named topic each month.
The topics will be loosely based around Volunteering and community, since Sligo is celebrating being European Volunteering Capital 2017. Volunteer Voices is a casual, social event. Conversations will take place in small groups and there is no pressure on anyone to contribute publicly.
We encourage you to come along & bring a friend. Events are free of charge and tea/coffee and light refreshments will be served. The first event is taking place on Wednesday 8th March in The Gallery Cafe at 10.30am in The Model.
The topic is ‘The Gender debate in Volunteering’ as the event falls on International Woman’s Day.
